Traditional loom with a Berber rug being created

Inside our workshop

The loom stretches the threads, the wool adds relief, and the pattern appears row after row.

The artisanal process

Every rug begins with a gesture.

In our workshop, the loom remains at the center of creation. Warp threads are stretched with precision, wool is prepared close at hand, and colors slowly take their place to form a living piece.

1

Preparing the loom

The vertical threads are aligned and stretched to give the rug its structure.

2

Choosing wool and colors

The material is carded, spun, and matched with the shades that will compose the motif.

3

Weaving row after row

The design is built by hand, with steady gestures and careful finishing.

Ancestral know-how

The tools that shape the wool.

Before the finished rug, there are precise gestures and simple tools: carding, spinning, stretching, knotting. This step makes the craft visible and gives meaning to every piece.
